The Genuine Fakes would like to announce that keyboardist Tommy who has been a part of the live roster since the beginning of the year is now a permanent band member. We welcome Tommy Fake to the family.

If you haven't noticed already, we've posted a brand new live clip from the recent gig in Falun in the music section.
01/09 - 2007 :: Irreplaceable
The band has been working hard as hell in the studio all summer with new tracks. And the first song out is Beyoncé cover "Irreplaceable", which you can stream over at The Genuine Fakes' MySpace. Plans are to finish up on all the tracks this fall and release an album in time for Christmas or early next year.
01/06 - 2007 :: New songs on MySpace!
Head on over to The Genuine Fakes' MySpace to listen to four new songs. The band is also in the studio laying down new tracks for release later this year.
29/05 - 2007 :: Showcase at Pet Sounds Bar
Tomorrow night The Genuine Fakes will do a showcase at Pet Sounds Bar in Stockholm. It's free entrance. Johan will also do a solo set. Also on stage: The Man, Katie Goes to Tokyo and Philip Black.
04/04 - 2007 :: New live videos!
Check out music for some brand new clips from TGF's latest gig! It's two brand new songs called "I Won't Be Home Tonight" and "Issues". Thanks to bgrrrlie for the clips!
07/03 - 2007 :: Gigs coming up
You've got some cool gigs to look forward to in the coming week. Tuesday and Wednesday will see the dawn of the new lineup! For live gigs the Fakes have brought in an extra hand on keyboards. That hand belongs to Tommy Wassgren, who is also playing with the great band chief. Check out Tour for more details.

24/02 - 2007 :: New gig dates and studio plans
Some more gigs have been booked. Also, the Fakes are hitting the studio in March to lay down some new tracks. Before long they'll have a new free websingle to offer you.
07/01 - 2007 :: "Star" hits the Big 50
"Star" has moved into the KIAC Big 50 at Independent Artist Company. The spring tour is also coming together. Check Tour for more info.
10/12 - 2006 :: TGF featured in online magazine Bandaren
